    what types of dry fly would people recommend for fishing stocked rainbow lakes at this time of year

    is there any good irish book that explains the basics of choosing flys

    i am a beginner just starting out fly fishing

    Since the buzzer or chironomid is one of the main insects found on lakes, dries to represent the buzzer are best. The Shuttlecock buzzer & a Shipmans buzzer(one of the best) are two dry buzzer patterns also when the warm evenings come in a good sedge pattern is essential & another great dry fly to use anytime in the summer & autumn is the Daddy Long Legs
