    Sooooooo..... I'm thinking of going abroad in the autumn to get away from recession-soaked Ireland, but to fund it, I have to work all summer at home first (not that I'm bitching, it's great to have a job, especially a paying one!)

    I have certain songs on my iPod that I always associate with travel and freedom, but I've played them to death between living abroad before and moving within Ireland. I'd like some new recommendations :D

    So what are your songs for travelling, escaping and new beginnings?

    Off the top of my head, here are some of mine:

    Sigur Ros, Hoppipolla

    Stone Roses, This Is The One

    Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Zero and Y Control

    Walls Bright and Shining Sun

    Foo Fighters, Times Like These and Learn to Fly

    and so on... :)
