Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Maybe it's just me but I don't get the concrete wall

No. Nobody gets the wall. Not in Drogheda, not on boards.ie.

    Dermot gets it though.

The hassle the poor couple will have with guests to their house first wanting to see the wall.

    Wall is a joke

Somebody told me last week that dermot and patricia are brother and sister. Any truth in that?

That stripe down the middle is dire.

    I don't mind the edge...

I predict this will be covered up.

Doubt it-would surely have been mentioned before

    He's good on kitchens.

Doubt it, brother and sister normally have similar accents

If the wall was finished in mosaic stone tiles it might look ok but it's very hard to then get the rest of the room fitting in with it.

No they're not, I heard an interview with her before and she said she had never met him before she was hired for the show.

That wall reminds me of the horrible exposed breeze blocks that some I.T's and universities went for that always looked like they could do with a good lick of paint:rolleyes:

Oh god not Dermot and the Kitchens.

I would have knocked that concrete wall down and probably buried Dermot under it.

They should have used the bigger shuttering pans so there would be no join line up the middle and no join line on top. Also the corners should be chamfered imo, would look better.

No they aren't. I remember her saying how she and others auditionned for the job and how Dermot had been nice and easy to get along from the begining, when they started working together.

It's one thing that if it stays as is no matter how great the rest of the house is when finished it will always be on your mind that it ruins it.
