Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Reducing the windows you lose a serious amount of light.

Think they wreaked it with the windows myself. I hate small windows

Try buying curtains for big windows!

Too much glass is like living in a zoo, as it lacks privacy.

They should build a wall instead of the hedge for security and privacy, nothing stopping people from strolling in through the hedge.

Those windows they were discussing in the house are on the south side of the house as well.

Condenser dryer requires no external vent directly off it. I can't see the obsession with a huge utility room. Have they never heard of a shed for the likes of golf clubs etc

Golf Clubs are like children to people!

I'm one of those people so they stay in my car at all times :)

What would he do if Iarnród Éireann changed their colour scheme, or just happened to have a pot of blue paint for their shutters instead of grey-green

This couple are trying to be a it too smart and just coming off obnoxious.

I know Dermot is a drama queen, but if you think the same and aren't going to take him seriously, why engage him and take place of someone else who would actually appreciate the advice?

My brother did one of these style houses and his only regret is not taking about 6cm - 8cm off the length because you can't get curtains long enough in shops and they cost a fortune to get made!

I think the hard hats/helmets are just for the camera on those programmes. They are completely useless as a Health & Safety item without a chin strap, anything falls from above and hits head, helmet goes flying.Same thing if person wearing it trips over and falls.
