Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

His Mrs must be on a fair whack of cash, not many firemen live in gafs that cost €600K.

Spot on. My dad was (retired) and 2 very good friends are firefighters. I earn about the same. And I'm shopping for houses with my wife, topping out at 200k

How on earth these 2 are paying 600k baffles me.

On the plus side... My wife is delighted that there's a 'room to improve' thread similar to the Late Late show.

Keith reminds me of me. Very controlling. She's in risk management. Time she reeled him in a bit...

Firemen are on €50-60K after ten years when you count overtime, Sundays, nights etc. Wife could easily be on €80K, possibly well over that. I think they've a lot saved. But the budget is being stretched.

Too true. Unfortunately the show and the thread cannot exist independently!

    Sell the effing fridge!
Quibbling over something that'll cost less than a grand to replace is ridiculous, especially when they can make 300+ by selling the thing.
I wouldn't compromise my kitchen for the sake of one appliance, feck that like.

Maybe with tonnes of overtime. Basic salary wouldn't be massive. Certainly not on a 600k house.

I wouldn't have bothered with the door off the lounge. It breaks up the window.

The "lawn" looks like artificial grass carpet.

I suppose it's just finishing for filming.

I'm not a fan of those stoves in built up areas, have no place in them.
