There was a short paragraph about it in the Sunday times yesterday talking about unforeseen difficultly with the final build and they hope to air it in the few weeks. And also that the show will be back for another season saying it's one of RTE's most watched shows with an average of over 600k viewers.

I love exposed concrete, so needless to say I'm in love with the idea of a bare concrete wall.
There's something raw and brutal about concrete inter interior.
It can be beautiful.
But these windows just don't work with it. They're to warm in contrast with the wall.

DB was on d'arcy last week, he said they "are waiting for a slot", why they just can't show it instead of any of the numerous repeat shows I don't know

They just started showing the latest season again last Sunday at 7.30pm - episode 3 is on next week. So they'll presumably air the missing episode in a few weeks then?

Yeah, saw the restoring of the fisherman's cottage in Rush. I think it's DB's favourite. The man really challenges him and is skilled.

I never noticed how good looking Dessie Dolan's wife was.....cracking. I think it was because she annoyed me a bit when I first saw it (the episode I mean).

Not fair to quote but theres been every problem imaginable so Ive heard. Supporting walls collapsing, unexpected delays, key people (cough) uncontactable for long periods, at least 2 builders sacked. A friend of mine lives closeby and she was complaining the garden was a building site 6 months ago. Its unchanged since.

Ive recently moved on workwise so dont know how itll go, but hope it works out for her.
