It's dire. Badly needs an overhaul. And they need an interior designer with up to date taste to work with them. Those curtains all over the house are awful - so dated.

I don't know why they need so many living areas when it's only the 2 of them in the place. He should have built himself a small recording studio.

I know of one family with a very large house. Front door opens into front hall with a sitting room left and right. A room behind the rhs sitting room. On lhs a teeny tiny kitchen with barely space to walk around island, leads to a small sitting room opens to a dining room co servarory and there other 3 rooms are never ever used bar drying clothes. Wreakes my head.

They should be happy with what they have. It's homely and comfortable. Neither of them are spring chickens.

Beautiful site / space.

Seriously outdated house though.

Can’t see why Dermot is proposing an extension......seems unnecessary to me.

Changing those awful doors / painting the place in a neutral colour would make a huge difference (and maybe taking down that fortress to the front ��)
