Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Must have sold it for a lot. Question is, why stay living where they are and flushing all that money down the toilet. Could get better value for money in other parts of the world.

Surely if you have this type of money to play around with, and aren't that concerned with his fee, you wouldn't need to be on tv having Dermot Bannon design your home though.
Unlike last week they're not celebrities. They aren't in need of the publicity. Why would you do this?

To rub someone's nose in it.

If I was spending that money I'd fit air conditioning in to it.

Normally people with this amount of money to spend wouldn't dream of going on Room to Improve for whatever RTE pay them. This is all about settling a score with some bitches back in secondary school.

And fair welly to them if it is. Seem like s lovely couple

With this type of money to play with I'd be concerned being so public and security. I thought it strange last week when Majella kept mentioning how much time she spends alone in such a remote area. Maybe I'm being paranoid but I'd genuinely be concerned.

Do the Dermot connections not cut an awful lot off the cost though? For instance, the window guy gets to advertise that those are his windows. the Pool company the same, etc etc.

For something this big, it seems like any benefit you can pull off to get it all done as youd like rather than dumping ideas, is a go'er.

My only concern would be the up keep/running costs.

My only concern would be the size of the place!! With just 2 kids ?
Why would you want all that ? It’s just too much house for me and when the kids grow up and leave they’ll be lost in that place .

Fair play to these two. He’s obviously worked hard to build up that family business to sell it on, they love where they live and want a better place to live. The place is going to look great!

Yeah, but obviously he had to be good at what he was doing with it to sell it for enough to fund this.
