Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is the front door what you would call a composite door?

Looking at this house, just reinforces my opinion that they should've renovated the old stone shed and incorportated into the design.

You'd be blinded with daylight though - even though I could sleep in a direct sunbeam usually, I'd want some way of darkening the room.

This uber-enthusiasm is starting to grate on me a bit.

    They're completely OTT.

I want to like them, but they need to calm down a bit!

I taught the exact same, but the would prevent the view for the old part of the house, plus its so far away from the old house to connect the two. The stone work to that shed looks lovely

These grants are madness. In 100 years a house isn't going to recover that is energy savings.

If they get it up to A3 or A2 standard they'll get 40-odd thousand back in a grant.

A big ask in a house that old!

Was the shed not blocking the view though, at least that's what I presumed.

It was, so you can imagine the views from the far side of it.

Would love to know what heating system.

I'd assume a heat pump...to get that house up to an A you're probably looking at a heat pump.
