Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wonder was the back garden that small when the house was originally built or was it sold off over the years?

Did all those shed take up any of the garden space?

So lads, anyone taking bets on how much Dermot goes over on budget before it’s built?

    I’ll say €200,000
    € 195.000.

Serious cash, between the house purchase and the renovation costs it will probably come in at 750k!

Jaysus, Dublin is expensive, a 6000sq ft house with stables and paddocks went for around 800k near me just outside Limerick. Location, location.

Not sure but on the aerial shots the house next to theirs looks like it was built recently.

No side access to the garden either. Not a requirement but would have been nice to have

Bannon is a plonker. Why would anyone want him anywhere near their house.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,200 ✭✭✭jos28

I know this house and someone who lived there. The garden is tiny but there is a huge tarmac plot on the side. AFAIK it can't be built on due to sewage pipes underneath.

Tight enough space, looks like it could be a nice finish.

Builder is a funny chap, I'll have 100 on it...Dermot nearly fainted.

"I just like the idea of old and battered look, and I know Dermot has NEVER produced over many seasons of this show, but I still expect him to give it to me"

It's amazing how some of these clients don't investigate before they go on this show
