I think it is absolutely fabulous, they certainly have a nice taste (minus that mural).

I would say that the builder would not have signed his release form if he didnt get Dermot to admit he was wrong and then to insist that it would be made clear that he finished the build within the 8 weeks whether the truth or not.

No signature from builder no TV show, 50G down the drain for the production company.

Not to my taste (feature walls too dark, didn't like kitchen, loved the idea of the mural but really dislike the one they chose) and I would have lost the head with the builder and the budget but really liked the couple and hope they were happy with the end result.

I mean if you're living there for a long term and it's not an investment that you wanna shift the money you spend on doing the place up is kinda trivial.
We live in a house that is probably worth 100k but I'd totally splash out money for some nice double storey extension when I'm living there for a long time.

Loved the couple and they got what suited them . Thought the mural was dreadful but they can paint over it . It cheapened a really nice courtyard

Surely the releases are signed once the tendering process is complete?

No way do they wait until filming is completed. That would be asking for trouble
