I can't understand why they are trying to make it look like the 60's inside yet are using massive glass windows from the modern era on the back of the house, makes no sense.

Don't you just hate when you walk into a house and the specific red says 1980's? Think about that.

1.1 million euro. I suppose the ber improvement will save them a few hundred euro a year though ... oh actually it won’t, I’m assuming loan interest on that amount is a pretty penny!

I barely got a glimpse of the front of the house, they extended over the garage, I hope the house front wall is not flush with the original as this really, to me takes away from the shape of the house, a step back would suit better, hope they got it right.

At the height of the last madness / boom houses further up the same road went for over 800k unmodernized and up to 1.2m fully modernized. It was mad, Ted, but that's the way supply and demand works I suppose. If it's going to be your forever home then how much you spend isn't really the issue as long as you can afford it. Megabucks, and miles beyond mere mortals like me but if you've got the money then it's a nice place to live.

Haven't they spent €1.1 million on this house. Is that money well spent? I don't think it is.
