And most people don’t want to spend over a million on a semi detached house when that would buy you a mansion in other parts of the country.

George Clarke had a good series on C4 called "Ugly house to lovely house" and there was a big focus on getting a finish that looked much more expensive than it cost. Using different material or techniques etc.. but still get the same clean crisp finish.

Hmmm you'd have to wonder about the longevity of some of that work though, using cheaper materials to get the look you want doesn't necessarily pay dividends in the long run. Cheap and cheerful isn't always the way to go.

    Yep.

Won't be watching it til tomorrow myself but at some point will be applying to RTI assuming it's still going

You’re gonna apply to RTI? Are you on the move again? I thought you only moved into your house a couple of years ago and did it all up? I remember reading your posts about costs of the renovation at the time.

It's like an unhealthy addiction, a few months after being done you're like "I could totally doing it again" even though it's the most miserable time of your life. I'm the same.

These 4 projects were better than any in the latest series. Wonder has he lost his mojo a bit lately.

Either that or they are choosing clients who are going to be more entertaining rather than interesting project's.

They need to drop the bad drone shots or at least hire someone who knows what they are doing. I'm getting motion sickness from the jerky shakey footage.

Also, still hate that beam in front of the window.

This. I was in the company of a lady who was turned down for the show lately. Her house would've been amazing.
