A pergola?! Sure you have to have one these days!

(I have no idea what a pergola is)

Retaing wall is the way to go with that garden with two split levels.

You can't do anything with a garden like that.

Exactly and you would need a group of people employed to keep it in decent condition.

To be fair they couldn’t have played rugby on the multi levels anyway.

Lovely family alright. Maybe a bit too accepting.

    I like the concrete island.

But it's their house....tell him what you want!

Yea I like the concrete island too, I think it would work in their kitchen. Builder seems like a good laugh :D

Jaysus they paid an awful lot for that house considering the work needed.

Was thinking the same, not homely at all

not sure about that garden. you would want a very good reason to walk all the way up there. if there was areas to chill out in on the way you might wander up a bit to read the paper or to relax

Yeah it's a big space would look cool.
Builder is sound...I'd say Dermot a right pain in the arse in fairness constantly changing plans. How many QS has he gone through now?!

A set of stupid wanky columns with a bar at the top ahhh of course that's a pergola.

Fair play to her for questioning the point of it.

Give the never tedious Diarmud Gavin a bit of work. Sure why not. Another one haunting the corridors of RTE.

I don't think he will be breaking his back planting the place tbh.

Sure that's a perfect garden for the kids rugby...even more levels than before..

If that garden cost €15000 there is something very wrong with these people.

The garden will look good when fully grown in.

You can play in the concrete kitchen sure.
Or drop kick the ball into the fire pit!

The house looks lovely in fairness the garden is not practical at all for them I would think.

100% agree. Obviously tough site to use with the garden but no way they could have made it practical for the kids.

Finished house is ok .. not his worst but I don’t like the different levels in kitchen.
That garden is shocking..meant to low maintenance the weeds will be a foot high in no time .. they will be weeding it forever and no room for the lads to play a bit of ball

Will they actually stay living in this house though ?!
I don't like the garden tbh , don't know what I'd have done with it but not for me .
