Jesus how did that monstrosity get permission in a bog standard estate in Rathfarnham?

Views? Of a row of 3 bed semis? Give me a break

"without obstructing the view". Except for the massive obstruction.

Did Dermot get a job lot of cheap timber slats somewhere??? Every build this season has them.

How do some of these houses get planning...that house with the slats is totally out of context with other houses around it...and yes the slats do limit the view

all the problems arent coming from him.

10 months before the build starts to nail everything down speaks for itsself

Yes. He stuck with them and I'm sure the finished product will be awesome.

I think he comes across fairly well actually.

Are these two taking the piss or are just reading off a script to put drama into the show..if not they are making themselves out to gob****es

It's TV so I wouldn't rule out the first plan was a p1ss take and they knew all along the roof was in bits. Surely any engineer worth his salt would flag that up walking up to the house.
There's a strong sea breeze all year round and it's an old enough house.

no courtyards this year. must not be in vogue any more

Builder's done nothing wrong - except hand around.

Hope there was some work for his lads on 2-month break.
