Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whatever about the noise this was a great investment for them, wonder if they've sold it already?

    Looks cool from the outside!

Are those railings not banned????? i.e. children climb on them?

    It's gorgeous.

But the rails on the stairs look illegal. I don't think you can have rails that kids can climb up like steps on the rails?

Rooftop would be great for a few drinks of a sunny summers evening.

Fair play to them, it's a really beautiful house. Few bits I couldn't live with but it's undeniably well done. Their furniture looks great too.

So many building regulations being breeched in this. How do they get away with it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,653 ✭✭✭✭amdublin

The wood on the floor actually looks good I think

Dermot always seems so close minded when clients suggest anything a bit different

    The railings on the stairs???

I am not liking the colour on the outside of the house as it could be a little brighter. But inside the house, Oh yes, it looks great.

The stairs is my least favourite thing. The white railings are like a 1980's gym

    That upstairs is class.

Not for me I think. Sure it's an architectural achievement but not sure if I'd enjoy living in it.

Yea, and in particular on the upstairs. The ones on the outside looked very low too.

Also I'd have to look it up again but there doesn't look to be enough of a landing on the very top before you go outside.

Actually not that much through traffic there.

Plenty of junkies attending the clinic.

The blocks of paint colours are a bit primary schoolish for me.

Looks great there are some things I'd change however I still think it looks great.

Dermots design here has made it to be fair.

Fair dues to her the wood on the wall works.

Most of her Junky stuff hasnt made the cut to be fair, the colours etc are good, but some of the furniture just doesnt cut it for me.

Turned out great in the end. Delighted for them, wouldn't be my choice but they had great foresight really
