Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Those windows besides cleaning would they require any maintenance ever for the rubber seals etc?

Does Dermot bring that suite of outside furniture with him to every house? I have seen the exact same chairs and couch on previous shows.

Why what is your problem with donegal ??????????????

I not being negative about it at all. I actually think with people having a large amount of land available at their disposal
in that area; there are many advantages in living in a large property in that part of the country.

Back on topic, this house looks beautiful. The only concern is the probable lack of storage for the furniture in the courtyard.

But other than that. It really is a superb job. Well done to all who made it happen.

I was thinking the same thing. Imagine running out to drag that lot in everytime it starts raining

He was on Ray D'Arcy or Sean O'Rourke last week and said that sometimes the budget is gone, every credit card is maxed out and they just parachute furniture in for the house warming.

No especially if you compare if to the €160k or so that the farmer guy and the wife did in Baltinglass a couple of weeks ago with the external fire, much more substantial change they got for their money.

Looking forward to hearing Patricia's final figures on this one.

I just dont believe the story every week to be honest..... There is some monumental f**kup, yet they still come in close enough to budget.. It seems to me that either the arguments are completely fabricated, or Dermot/the production company throw a load of money to get the smiles at the end of the show....

Thought the island was way too wide for the space but a lovely home at the end.

I wish they would show all the rooms like the third bedroom and the utility room. Only saw the playroom at ground level.

So essentially they paid 260 K for a site and then a further 275 K

    535 K - nice house but saucy.

The end product is better than anything else on Daft right now for the same money in Portmarnock.

Have to say the house came out nice in the end. The couple came across as such lovely people. I would just dread cleaning all the glass of little handprints when the little one gets moving!!

I'm imagining that the outdoor furniture is weatherproof and designed to be left out in the rain?

I actually was in Donegal back in May 2008 which was seven years ago. I wouldn't have going past that house but I remember that I went stopping at Letterkenny and doing outdoor pursuits in Gartan with my form group in Secondary School.

I have seen shopping centres in Letterkenny that are much bigger than that house btw (but I never had that time to see them on the inside).

    ?????????
