Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

we are going to build and everyone keeps telling us to paint all the walls white at first and then after a few months living there paint them the different colours we want once we settle in and do up the rooms...

We did this and a year later still haven't got around to painting the walls, everywhere is white undercoat!

    Granny is very old

Could this be the first programme that they might actually need one less room before the end of the build.

Back in the day if someone in your family or a mate could stack blocks you would give them a house to build. No need for planning permission and other red tape.

Too many bathrooms might be bad for feng shui but it might be good for personal hygiene missus.

Don't think they'll have enough money for what they want.

For 6 bedrooms you would ideally want 1 guest bathroom near the entrance to the house, an ensuite and one near the bedrooms. Feng shui or not if your last in the Q in the morning waiting to use the toilet your healthy body and mind won't be very pleased.

My dad is a blocklayer and years ago back in the mid 70s him and a load of his mates built an extension onto the local pub after a session one night. They literally blocked out the whole thing overnight whilst being fed pints by the pub owner.
