Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I like the steps down in to the "den"

    Show us the window!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,653 ✭✭✭✭amdublin

    The window looks "ok"

    Better than was before.

Dermot, that window is still a disaster.

No amount of panelling with ever disguise that fact!

House looks good, not convinced by the window.

Nice bit of thinking about the window. Not ideal, but a reasonable fix.

    The window is no no.

Could a child fall into that space?

That looks like loaned furniture in the attic! :D

That window would have me in a padded cell within six months.

    Where is the baby??

  • Registered Users Posts: 55 ✭✭Leinster D

She looks well after the baby. Seem like a nice couple and I like the finished house.

That window is a **** up and whatever attempt to make it look right doesn't work. Cant make a race horse out of a donkey.

    Oh they had the baby!

No gang around boozing at the end.

Hope they get some blinds or it will be like living in a zoo.

Was that builder on the Apprentice? Looks very familiar.

Was wondering where I had seen him before. Great spot

I would say yes. And if you add the 3 steps to the "den", it is not really a house for young children

Should have put frosted perspex panel with a light behind it to give the illusion of a full height window.

Both of them are from the other end of the country. They probably don't have a bustling social life in Dublin where they can invite 20-30 friends around for drinks.

Where's the friend of the husband of a best friend of somebody - the one with the inside knowldge?

    WE NEED ANSWERS!!!

    What happened the builder?
    Was there no housewarming?
Did it all end in tears and in between hiccups they managed to squeeze in the "we're delighted, and we're all friends, honest" bit?

I thought they would have had the Christening party at the end. Maybe it had something to do with falling out with Jamie ?? Strangely edited edition of the show. I liked the finished house, lots of lovely interesting features. Have to admit that I'd be found on the landing taking a sledge hammer to that window.
I could NOT live with that

    Any mention of final cost?

I'd say the baby's arrival put paid to that, and possibly they couldn't get the builder to come back and say nice things about Dermot!

Aw no partay? No chance for Jamie to bond with Dermot?
Delighted for the couple, it looks like a home :)
I'd be happy enough with what was done with that window. Not ideal, but it does the job.
