Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sarah really wears the trousers in that relationship.

Watching Room to Improve, you could be forgiven for thinking that in Ireland the women almost always wear the trousers!

I know Sarah (not very well though) and have to say she's getting a tough time, she's not 'a weapon' as she's being portrayed.

I do think Dermot moving Mary to the opposite side of the house is very unfair, she had her heart set on it.

Kinda going off Dermot. Would usually see his side but not on this.

Oooh, even Patricia is slagging Dermot off!

Typical from Dermot, first meeting with the female client a handshake, every other meeting it's practically tongues :)

Not a fan of the plywood or concrete floor myself either.

All these school tours to other properties Dermot arranges are all the same, big bare empty houses with exposed concrete and glass walls everywhere.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,653 ✭✭✭✭amdublin

    A laminate floor

Dermot needs to bring the clients to his house some day.

This poor builder is wishing he never took the job on

    That plywood kitchen was awful!

Maybe in reality it might be a bit better, but for a client who had from the get-go declared that she loved hi-gloss......

Floor colour very dark, wouldn't be a fan of it now

Nothing about the heating system, what did they go with? Thought underfloor heating might have been touted to them.

I am not a fan of these sunken rooms, no benefit in them, they only lead to hassle especially if you have kids going around the house.

God Dermot's houses are exactly the same every time

There was underfloor heating when they were pouring the concrete.
