Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Marquez should be disqualified for his overtake.
Congrats to Dani- the best today. Hopefully this will keep a few people quiet for a while.

    Disqualified, Are you serious?
That was a harsh move admittedly but no worse then many others over the last few years.
Rossi and Sete Gibernau had exactly the same thing a few years ago.
    Same corner etc.
Rossi wasn't DQ'd so I wouldn't expect MM to be either.

Maybe you are right to a point but Marquez got in Lorenzo's way. It was different from Vale and Sete's. That was Vale giving him a push on the bend. Marquez blocks Lorenzo's line. No exactly the same. At least he should be penalised.

Racing is racing, balls out from the start right to the end.

Lorenzo left a gap and Marquez went for it,as any rider who wants to win will do.

Great to see the days of FAIRING BASHING RACING back.:D:D

Maybe Rossi had a quiet word in Marquezes ear, just before the race, over THAT CORNER.:D

Another fairly drab race TBH, until the last lap. I am a big Lorenzo fan but he was a ****in clown leaving a gap like that, fair play to Marquez for that shot gun pass. If Lorenzo was naive enough not to have looked at Marquez in Motogp2 for the last couple of seasons and see that is a trademark of his then more fool him

Another great ride from Alvaro too.

Bradl is starting to panic a little bit I think....he had such a good year last year he is under alot of pressure. Shame he DNF in Jerez coz he is a good rider....

Alot of the MotoGP riders have backed Marquez and said if they were in his boots, then they too would have for gone for that gap aswell.

The various team bosses and riders managers have also said it wasnt a nasty overtake...that racing is racing.

"This isnt cricket or tennis we are playing here"

Lorenzos team manager has said the overtake/pass was "borderline"...but thats to be expected from Lorenzo and Yamaha.

So no penalty and it was a racing pass.:)

Wonder are the gloves well and truely off between Lorenzo and Marquez now for the next round in 2 weekends time at Le Mans??:D

I don't think its just Lorenzo, anyone is fair game to Marky mark.
If you are in front and MM93 wants to pass then you had better find a few tenths or be very sure you can stop him from passing.
Lorenzo should have let him past and then put some pressure on him.
It makes for good racing, no more safe seconds or thirds, you have to push for the win all the time.

In all fairness to Lorenzo he did say in the post race interview that he made only 2 mistakes the whole race and one of them was leaving a bit of a gap the last corner....hope he learns from it.
