    Friend needs Broadband. No UPC available in her area. Any recommendations on some of the best basic packages out there. TIA

    Where roughly are they located? Location has a big bearing on the service & it's quality.

    Best to have a look in the broadband forum,fibre is being rolled out all over the country so your friend might be in luck(depending on where they live)

    Vodafone@Home is the cheapest dsl broadband out there,starting at €29 per month.
