Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys,
In your opinions what is the most profitable form of smallholding? I,d like to set up something small for the summer just as a form of extra pocket money.

Its a tricky one Most small holders are only in it to provide food for them selves and its a nice way of life, if you could make a few quid as well it would be great i know a lad who makes a few quid selling duck eggs to local shops we had a discussion in the pub one night and they recon 1 duck would leave you with more profit than 1 sheep.

I don't have any experience but surely poultry is the way to go? Outlay isn't as high as sheep etc, feed isn't as expensive either
