Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What a wonderful manager.

Fair play to him, done a smashing job so far.

If he's not careful he'll find himself as the England manager before too long.

He'd wanna cool the jets or England will be after him

I like the guy. I'd like him a lot more if he stopped beating Chelsea all the time.

    Heh, exact same time.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Fair play to the guy. Took a lot of stick from certain folk who claimed he would be a massive failure.

First they claimed they would be relegated last season. Then they changed to "give him one summer to ruin them". Of course neither happened.

A lot of egg on a lot of faces.

    Lot of egg.

    :-)

    Crystal Palace 5 - 1 Newcastle United

I would imagine Pardew is super smug mode now and fair play to him.

There are a few bitter newcastle supporters with egg alright. He's proven himself at this stage.

    Except when he's headbutting players

Well he hasn't headbutted me and I don't think he rode my wife so my opinion stands!

I'd imagine, after all the sh1te he had thrown at him by the Newcastle fans, that he'll be feeling very satisfied tonight.

Pardew better stay away from the England job, he's already had a dead-end job at Newcastle tarnish his record without taking over another dead-end job. He's at a club that is properly run, instead of having a chairman pimp out his company with advertisement signs all over the stadium (which Newcastle don't receive a penny for) and no better than he old stomping ground, Crystal Palace, where he's had many good memories as a professional footballer.

Jose Fonte's injury today was unfortunate. He has had a rough time of it.

Sure Newcastle will be better without him....

Pardew must be delighted after all the genius's writing him off.
