Hi all I will be going down to kilkee soon for a trip and I want to photograph the main spiral arm of the milkyway.Something like this I have obviously seen the main stretch of the milkyway but that was in winter . Does the Spiral arm set beyond the horizon at this time of year ? When and what time does it rise at this…

Use Stellarium to plan your trip and see exactly how it will look like in terms of star alignment for a given date/time

I don't no much about astronomy but one thing i do no is its a smashing view on the north sea this time of year even when your pulling oil out of the ground.
