Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iphone 4 solar case

    I was reading excellent reviews on new solar charge cases/battery for the iPhone. I wondered if anyone bought one recently and if so are they any use!?

    Have a solar ext batt pack (a few actually) and a battery case. Don't expect too much from the solar panel, almost all of 'm need at least a day (often more) in direct sunlight to charge the pack. Just get a battery case or ext battery and don't bother with solar. Had 2 of 'm and always just used charger to charge them. Most packs have enough power to give your phone at least 1 full charge, some more.
    Unless you're expecting to use the ext battery daily I wouldn't bother with a case. They're very bulky so I prefer to use a regular thin case for normal protection and if I need a charge use to ext batt for that. Also an ext batt will be useful for more than one device where the case will only work with your iPhone.
    You'll find loads of them on www.dx.com (where I got most of mine) read the reviews though, some are good some are cr@p...
