    Journalist Kate Adie is in Waterford today where she will be presented with a certificate of Irish Heritage - her father was a Waterford man.

    She'll be on the Pat Kenny Radio Show at 11am today (Tuesday) to talk about it.

    Kate Adie is in WFD. Being presented with cert of Irish Heritage at 3.30 in WFD Castle. Great story about her search for her family here.

    She said she was "first under the table" when the shooting starts! :) Which is why she's still alive. Probably a bit of modesty mixed with the truth.

    I got the audiobook of her autobiography (nice to hear her read it!) and it's full of funny stories like a piano stuck in the mud and not understanding why there was a cameraman accompanying her on a report. Not considering herself to be brave is a running theme. She wrote another book called "Into Danger" interviewing people who are very brave indeed!
