To be honest all educational qualifications may relevant to your CAO application especially if you are applying to a 3rd level course in a related field.

Re the funding support you could email SUSI to check. If the QFA qualification isn't a full level 7 award then you may be ok for free fees etc. Or it may have no bearing on your fee status but you could email them to find out for definite.

YOu might also like to check with the Quality and Qualifications Ireland, (formerly the NQAI). They might be able to tell you where on the qualifications framewok your QFA sits. : http://www.nqai.ie/awardsframework.html#professional

What course are you applying for?
If it doesn't have financial implications (check it out per paperclip2's suggestion), it may strengthen your application for the course you are applying for and make you a more attractive candidate. Studying and completing a course, even part time, but particularly while working shows you have commitment, are willing to stick with a course, etc. And shows you have still been learning since leaving full time education.
