Not ugly cars.... Dated! DATED!!! :P

Stuff that looked best before it left the factory!!!
I thought it was stuff that looked well leaving the factory but dated more quickly than folk thought they might?
I'd suggest the Insignia for that, looked well when it came out, but beginning to look dated already.

I think the Beetle looked great for about 6 months when it was launched in 1998 but really dated quickly:10500433-vw-beetle.jpg

Well, there are exceptions to every rule, without a doubt the 159s lights are fabulous:

That does look the dogs bollox.
Funny thing about Alfa's are their way of making what shouldn't be good looking absolutely fantastic. Imagine someone telling you about it before they were released "well, I've designed the lights so that I have just put a black rectangular gap between the bonnet and bumper, and stuck 3 round lights in there... trust me, it looks great" you'd have them banned from the designing office!!!

Give that seirra a chance and pick one that looked good to begin with.

Beetle looks great, in fairness it's not the most comfortable and spacious car, but it's design is time-proof.

I don't know how anyone can call it "looked good". It's in good condition, but OMG! - that's mass production design like this:

No need to keep posting Kias and Hyundai's. It's a given that pretty much every Kia, Hyundai, Daewoo/Chevorlet age 3 times faster than any other car

I don't agree, I think it looks fairly terrible now, the new model helped a tiny bit, but not much. The MINI worked better.

    Agreed ;)

I must admit myself, compared to the facelift the D8 406's look rather vintage by now....

Skoda design is catastrophe since they started to build cars 120 years ago. I think there is no need to add any more Skodas to this thread. ;)

    Is it ****!

Skoda have a brilliant design track record in both styling and engineering.

Historically they have been a company that was held back by Communism in it's latter years.

I agree. From each according to his ability, to each according to his need could easily be the guiding principle that seperates Audi from Skoda despite both being made from the same parts bin!

Ford Ka is just small and cheap city car and even with this, one of most nicest designed city cars. It has big potential for modifications is anyone want to modify such poorly powered car:

Personally I think your wrong about the Lexus, that hatch wont age that badly I think, good modern look to it.
And as much as I hate Hyundai, I reckon that Santa Fe is the best looking yet, and will last better than the old models.

I haven't even got started yet (and I've ignored the white goods eastern stuff too)! There have been some really blandly styled cars in the last 10 years though (and a few brilliant exceptions). Don't forget that I'm posting cars that I used to think looked good, but I'm not so keen on any more.
