Anyone with a 48 hour xbox live pass?? My subscription just ran out today, and ofcurse today is when I spot the fable 3 has been available to gold members for free for a week.... I would really appreciate it.

Pretty sure the 48 hour trial is just a trial, doesn't actually turn your account gold for 2 days so it just allows you to play multiplayer and use the apps fully but don't think it allows you to get the gold rewards like the free games. I could be wrong tho. If you have a friend with a gold account tho, you could download it onto your xbox with their profile and you'll be able to keep it I think.

See Post #44 here but you can also create another profile through your xbox if you haven't already created 3 already to get 1 month xbox live free on the new profile, the download it and have it on your console to play on your main account.
