The Rotisserie chickens were lovely last time around and good value at 4€

Nice veg selection (parsnips, turnip, potatoes) for hearty chicken and bacon casserole or casserole made of cut up beef medallions

I wish those 69p carrot and parsnip trays were a permanent feature, so handy for veg mash in the steamer when you're just cooking for yourself.

They usually are, just not always in Aldi. If you do what I do and keep an eye on every supermarket/symbol group for deals you will find that Aldi will do the carrot & parsnip trays this week, then maybe Centra will do them next then Supervalu the following week and so on
I love it as my veg so I always look out for it. Tesco are doing a tray of parsnips for €1 at the moment then Lidl have a kilo bag of carrots for 99c

Yeah you'll never get them for 69p though and with my crazy hours 2/3 of everything I buy ends up going in the bin, I walk past an Aldi on the way to and from work and my only other shopping options during the week are 2 Centras (which can surprise you with their meat and veg deals sometimes these days it must be said especially in the new renovated ones with the display tables).

Thank god for Aldi, if it wasn't for them and this 3-tier steamer they sold me a couple of years ago I wouldn't see a fruit or vegetable from one week to another, Id be surviving on 3-in-1s and Dominoes:

    The ultimate kitchen tool IMO.

I bought the 1.5kg unsmoked ham last week for €4 and husband and kids all said it was delicious (high praise indeed from my crew!!). Not sure if this weeks ham is the same but defo worth a look

1.5kg Ham Fillet was medium for 4 euro so this is large 2kg for 6euro. I agree it was lovely!!

Do you find the amount of the products they have on the super 6 either sells out very quickly or they have low stock in their stores

Maybe its the times Im going in but come 5 - 6 oclock their super 6 shelves are very empty

I imagine 1 per pack as they at one point were 8,99 then 7,99 and I see now they are saying you save 99c so that means they were 6,99.

I got them during the summer and they were superb mind you

I noticed any time I go in in the evening on the first or second day of the new offer there tends to be some attrition. Other than that it's been fine though.

The one in Bray you can buy Super 6 stuff all week, never seems to sell out, it does get a big dent in the pile on the first couple of days though.

As its 227g its only one steak, two would be 454g which is a pound in old weight AFAIK.
iirc Aldi had two rib eye steaks on the Super 6 for €9 just two weeks ago so this offer for one for €6 isnt as good but for prime rib eye its still not a bad price. I'm cracking up not stocking my freezer when the last offer was around, when it comes up again I'll be all over it.
