Recommend me a HTPC that can handle some gaming

I'm looking for a slim / mini PC to use as both a HTPC and a gaming machine capable of running Steam in Big Picture mode and a variety of games, such as platformers and slightly older games like Left 4 Dead 2 / Team Fortress 2 / etc. Basically a cheap, small form-factor machine with a lower-mid level graphics card. Someone recommended a Zotec Zbox to me, but can't find anything suitable. Any recommendations? Don't want to spend more than €400, and closer to €300 would be great!

The performance is comparable to a mobile Core i3 with a GT 620M. Graphics benchmakrs here.

The AMD A-10 would be better, but outside your budget. Any Intel Core with dedicated graphics is also out of the question.

Good value pcs,
but they,ll use alot more power than a htpc,
and have more fan noise.

I got a hp mini pc for 350 euro, 2 years ago, it uses only 60 watts,power
completely silent,just has one fan one the cpu.
But they dont, seem to sell em anymore in pcworld.
