iPod copycats...

I was browsing on eBay, and saw these MP3/etc players that are obviously made to look like iPods, but was wondering about the functionality of the 30-pin connectors that come with them.

Do they function similarly on docks like an iPod would? For example, play music, respond to dock unit remote control input, output video if dock suystem supports it?

almost certainly not...that's my opinion with zero first hand experience.

Wow that's the 3th Generation! That's the best one ever.

I'd steer clear if I were you almost certainly to be problems.
Also maybe I'm behind the times but what's MP5 ?
