24 to return???

A few stories have emerged today that Fox are considering a limited return of 12 episodes of 24 following the cancellation of Touch and the failure of the film to get off the ground.

I'm usually not one who calls for series which ended well coming back but I need more Bauer & Almeida, dammit.

I don't get the point of 12 episodes though. I know thats how the first season was initially planned but surely its playing sound too much with the concept of the show?

I was pretty happy with how Season 8 ended, but I'd be happy to see more of Jack Bauer! It's been a while since I thought about 24, but I'm sure there are plenty of unresolved plotlines to go back to. I'd particularly like to see Tony redeem himself!

So the new series is going to be filmed and set in London. As a Brit, I'm delighted.

Jack, Chloe, Audrey and Heller all signed up. There aren't many other existing characters still alive of course. Come on the Almeida!
