Pugged in, not charging

    My laptop (ASUS) charger is connected but it says "plugged in, not charging".

    Any ideas as to what's wrong?

    Old laptop? Battery may be dead.

    This process is also worth trying. Sometimes it can be a driver issue but usually it is due to the battery reaching the end of it's life

    How old is the battery

    If you boot the laptop with no battery then plug the battery in when windows boots do you get the same error
