Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I found a copy of mine in the attic & it's stamped €4.44 (short one), was issued in 2003.

I also have a long one stamped €6.98 issued same day.

I got married three months later so it must have been for that.

I was looking online & you can order them through hse.ie for €20.

Are they any cheaper if you go into Lombard street?

depends on what you need the certs for... research Certs for family history purposes cost €4 in the research room Irish Life Centre. These are are not suitable for legal purposes.

To order these certs you need the correct references from the BMD Index, either on FamilySearch website (up to 1958) or from the Index books in the research room.

specialize in Family History certs ... no idea on official ones.

I'd suggest ringing Lombard street or the relevant registration office. I've seen a list of offices either on the GroIreland or HSE website.

I think they went up in price recently, I'm almost certain I got my marriage cert at the end of last year for €10....
