    Single girl thinking of buying in this area as I am starting work in Galway in August and was wondering is it a safe place to live alone. Seems to be mixed rental and family houses when i drove around.

    I know people in Tara Grove and they're happy out. No complaints anyway.

    Me, I'd rent in the area I'd like to buy in first to make sure it's what I want.

    I live there, it's quiet most of the time, there are quite a few students living here but on the most part I've had no problems.
    I feel perfectly safe here and it's fairly convenient for town etc.

    I live in Wellpark Grove. I've been living here almost 6 months and there's no trouble so would recommend it to anyone.

    AFAIK Tara Court is on Whitestrand Road but Tara Grove
    is near Wellpark.
    Just saying.

    It is a safe area ,but what makes it perfect is the location close to town as well as Salthill.

    I wouldn't say it's in anyway close to salthill!

    Tara grove is a nicer spot than wellpark grove though.
