Aston Villa v Chelsea - k/o 12:45pm - SS2

Well its never to early, or late to start a match thread.

Villa are 5 points above Wigan and a point here will all but guarantee them safety from the drop, a win and they're safe and could move towards mid table before the rest of the league play this weekend.

Chelsea in 3rd are 2 pts clear of Arsenal with a slightly better GD and 3 pts ahead of Spurs with a very healthy GD, a win will see us all but guarantee a top 4 finish barring some miracle scorelines and shifts in GD for Spurs.

Villa are missing a few for this game including, Albrighton, Clark, Herd, Dunne, El Ahmadi, Gardner, Lowton could miss out also for Villa.

Chelsea have the EL final in Amsterdam on Wednesday night and no doubt Rafa will have an eye on that for this game and its selection issues, we are missing Bertrand, Mikel & Romeu while doubts remain over Moses and Hazard, which could easily see a re-shuffle and Ake or Yossi getting game time.
