Current price on these is £229.00.

Hi. I noticed that a deal on hkud listing ex-display models of the Humax Foxsat HDR 500GB for £149.95. Do you have any in stock on hand for shipping, and what would the total price (including delivery to Cavan) be if you do? Thanks.

Cyclonius HIf you really want one of them humax have them for 149 pounds as well but you'd have extra postage charges I think & probably have to use Parcel Motel http://humaxdirect.co.uk/product.asp?ProdRef=10105 Grade A
Quote -> (These products are either older models we are attempting to clear from stock, or "Grade A" ("Grade A" units are marked with the suffix -G or -GSP at the end of the part code). Grade A's are predominantly store returns that have been tested and where appropriate repaired to an "as new" standard in our own service centre or factory. They come fully boxed with all accessories and full instructions and are all backed up by a complete 1 year on site warranty)

They also have the G2 grade A ones for 189 pounds http://humaxdirect.co.uk/product.asp?ProdRef=10208
I'm assuming that you could use parcel motel to get around the UK shipping.

@Chris@richersounds Is 229 your best price on the G2 Humax box?

    Hi Proco Jr.

Yip at the moment the best on the G2 is £229.00.

We can  not price match against Grade A products as all the products that we sell are brand new.

Just to let the lads know re parcel motel, I had intented to do that route as the price was better than the price richersounds had on the receiver (nothing wrong with the price btw was just cheaper from humax direct because it was a grade A) Anyway humax will only deliver to the same address as your credit card and because of this I had to get my friend up north to buy it post it on and turns out it was DOA so I had to pay again for it to be send back up north and humax replaced and collected it free of charge from the address up there but then I had to pay for it to be sent back to me. If I had the time back I would have just bought directly from richersounds. Just my cents.

    Thanks Glic et Al.

I would not like to allow this forum to become somewhere to knock Humax direct as Humax are an excellent company - normally on the Richersounds thread we don't comment on other retailers unless its in respect to a direct price challenge and I'd rather leave it like that?

However if you can get a good Foxsat 320 or 500GB for around that price (£150 ish) from anywhere - I'd grab one - I'd sell you my own but then I'd just have to go out and replace it and lose all my excellent Brian Eno specials from BBC4 about 18 months ago

Thanks for all the info and discussion and keep us posted if we can assist,
