Representation rethink?

    Would Waterford be better getting rid of its elected representatives and senators for this term and use the money saved to hire professional lobbyists? We could hire twice as many and give them quire a lot of money(expenses) to wine and dine the respective tds and ministers who make the decisions...

    We know that all our tds are doing is lobbying at best why not hire people with a record of getting results and we can weigh the cost/benefit ratio... thereby they feel that they have a duty to represent us... but are hired and can be fired when they fail miserably rather than wait 5 years.

    This is of course impossible to implement but I think we would be far far better off with a system we could quality manage our representatives

    Yes we Would, as what we have are inexperienced naive cute and lazy, and ??? Words fail me .
