Benfica would drive you nuts. Sublime build up play but they are cacking themselves when it comes to taking the shot. Chelsea will punish them if they continue to waste chances.

Benfica are shocking in front of goal. Chelsea are just shocking in general.

Not a good half from a Chelsea point of view. We sat to deep and then after about 25 minutes we tried to press a bit but the problem is that it isn't a concerted press, it's 1's and 2's rather than 4's and 5's. On the ball it's been like the game against Atletico earlier in the season, too many players unable to play under pressure and that has to be improved if we are going to go down the passing football route. As I've said before its like 2 different teams stuck together to make 1.

All of that and the lack of Eden Hazard has caused problems in that first half.

Luiz has been the only player continuously picking clever passing options for Chelsea. He's been forward-thinking and he's tried to make things happen. For me he was Chelsea's best player in that half.

It's 0-0 and Chelsea came closest to scoring. Benfica have been fairly toothless in the final third, not sure what the love in is all about here. Cech hasn't even made a save
