Common in football. The arms are all over him and it is a foul, but then the player dives to the ground. Why does being held back make you lose your footing? It doesn't. It's a dive. It happens about a dozen times in every game.

I wonder do they know how hilariously apoplectic it makes the EPL based commentators and fans. They should do it even more against English teams imo for the laugh.

It's the 'his hands were on him' argument to justify this type of thing, but hands just being on you is different (and inevitable in football), they won't make you fall over unless you're shoved.

Really highlights how overrated he was back than by people and how underrated he is now. He wasn't world class then and he isn't awful now. He's merely an average striker and always has been. Would be good for a mid-table team. He's never been prolific.

Sorry you're right I counted the Spain goals in, 22 so far this season. 31 was his best for Liverpool. So 9 away.

Has opened up into a really good game this with Chelsea coming out of their shell since they scored. You'd wonder why they were so negative in the 1st half. I guess they are inclined to be that way after they won the CL last year being largely negative.
