I hate being the last poster* to comment on a thread. I always fell like I've killed something beautiful or that my comment was so stunningly stupid and unfunny that no-one has the heart to post anything else after leaving it in the textual equivalent of an embarrassed silence. I can rationally see that my dislike has no basis but that dosen't make it anymore palitable.

Now it's usually about this point that opening posts ask for a list of what YOU might dislike but thats been done before. So, in an effort to come up with something a bit more original, will those posters who don't have any irrational dislikes to tell us about please regale us with a five word synopsis of the current** Eurovision song contest***.

Oh, I've just realised I have another dislike, trying to come up with post titles.
This is a minefield of pitfalls to snag me. I can compose a thread in a matter of moments (and it shows) but I can spend days fretting about getting the title just right.
If the title is a simple rehash of the contents of the post then it's redundant. If the title is misleading I'll get slammed for posting a misleading title. It has to be attractive to the casual viewer but can't oversell the thread with allusions to sexual prowess. Finally there is the chagrin suffered if I do something daft like mispell or grammar it wrongly.
I find the safest bet is to go with something surreal.

*I mean this in a non-mod way of course. Locking threads with pithy comments is still the biggest perk of modding. :cool:
