Can anyone suggest somewhere in Dublin (preferably north) where you can eat lateish(7/8pm) where you don't have to get dressed up and pay a fortune, not a fast food place just somewhere that does reasonable priced foods like pasta dishes, burger & chips, chicken & chips, salads etc !

    Thanks

The Market Bar is a nice bar for good food. Good selection of beers too and a good menu. :)

May not be very cheap, but great value for money. Best steak I've had in Dublin, bar none

Thanks for the suggestions but was looking for more a restaurant/café type place rather then a bar/pub.

Ended up going to a place in Malahide. "that's amore" - Restaurant/café type place.
Food was very tasty, excellent service, nice staff and very reasonable priced.
2 starters (salad and garlic bread) and 2 mains (2 chicken pasta dishes) 2 large bottled water = €36 :D
