Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Buying an Iphone 4s formerly Billpay

I have been browsing on Done Deal and I have came across various Iphone 4s's which are for sale as 'unwated upgrades', the usual asking price varies between €350-€400. Nobody seems interested in these offers as they have been advertised for days. Is it possible to put a ready to go sim in a bill phone or is it likey these phones are implicated in a contract?

It's possible to use a prepaid sim in the phone as long as you are sticking to the same network.

There is a huge risk though with dishonest sellers. An issue that some buyers have discovered, is where you buy an iPhone off Donedeal or any site, meet the seller, confirm that your simcard works, and hand over the money. The following day, the seller claims the phone was stolen, the phone is then blocked from working in Ireland, and you are left with a very expensive iPod touch.

Done some research since the initial post and have reached the conclusion that it is just too risky. I am going to buy new from a local store. Thanks again.
