Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not at al McCarthy has been good so far also.

Only listening to the radio, but sounds like McCarthy is having a cracker.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

    England players are on holiday

From a Celtic point of view, Gary Hooper would have given a far better effort in attack, this sort of game suits him very well.

Don't think so, McCarthy is still 2 years younger.

McGeady should be nowhere near the Irish team. Nowhere near good enough.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,580 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Don't understand all the Keane abuse. He hasn't made a massive impact, but he hasn't been close to our worst player there, and Cox is muck.

How England is rated 7th in the world is shocking based on this performance....

Mc Geady is like a decent car with no breaks.

You'd need to get the ball off him yourself for any end product.

    At least it's not Sammon

Are you high??!? Being able to take a player on at this level is a rare thing. We have 2, maybe 3 players who can do it well. Sure....lets leave them out!

Think Ecquador were ranked 10th and they only held out for 9 seconds at home to Germany 'B' tonight :pac:

Trap must be in need of some calcium. Taking Robbie off so he can get some breast milk.

No point in going past players if you can't cross the ball or shoot.

Ireland threads are tiresome these days. People going bananas over the likes of Keane, McGeady, Whealan etc.

Yet probably wouldn't have the first clue of who could replace them in the squad.

I've see him take on more the one, but do you think he'd do anything with it afterwards.

    Such an annoying player.

What? There are players who can easily replace Keane, ie Hoolahan.
Anyone could do a better job than Whelan.
