Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

McCarthy having a great game in middle of the park breaking up the play

What's Keane done so far? Waste of space.

I would have preferred if Sturridge was staying on and not Defoe coming in.

Listening to this on 2FM and it sounds like someone is watching a sci-fi programme in the background.

If Robbie Keane was a dog he'd be politley put down.

Coleman is, by a margin, our best player.

Very confident on the ball, great to see

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

You look at that England team and you'd be amazed how some of them get into the first team after barely starting for their clubs

Everyone of them bar Lampard and Cahill are first team regulars for their club.

We play some great fast paced counter attacking football.

They are all on a plane to Brazil in the morning, apart from Sturridge who doesn't seem to fancy it.

Coleman, McCarthy and Long = quality.

Although Coleman is a RB, that's still a pretty young 'spine' of a team to build around.

Also have to say we've most definitely been the better side 1st half. Good stuff bar the inevitable defensive howler.

    I forgot Keane was playing.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

That was a great tackle by Cahill in fairness. Would have been gas if that own goal went in!

Rooney looks gassed already. We are playing alright so far. I like the fast counter style from us.

That England Band does my head in, butchering The Great Escape music at every game, over and over again.

It's a genuinely close call between that band or vuvuzelas. Pretty sure both have been employed in Guantanamo at some point.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

I think playing a 3 man midfield is the way to go here.

Leave Long to run in behind and make a nuisance.......and take keane off at half time. Something tells me it wont happen but tactically that's what we need.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

Great stuff from our lads so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

Robbie off at ht, Wes on...a 4-4-1-1 wud work so much better

1-1 at half time isn't a bad score.
