GAA players don't get any perks for playing the games ..... lmao. I can't believe that nonsense still flies.

He asks THE most uninformed, uninteresting, generic questions ... Think how interesting this would be with the OTB team..

Anyone playing in an All Ireland Final should get €10k in cash in an envelope under their jersey in the changing room, no questions asked.

Only I'm driving to Galway early in the morning, I'd be down to the off-licence for more drink. One can of Dutch Gold is not going to get me through the rest of this show.

"If I go to see a match in Croke Park which I did last Summer" - Tubridy playing to the masses, pretending to be sports fan, we know he was at home last summer reading his almanac and editing his memoirs.

I reckon there isn't a bottle of red hair dye to be found in Clare at the moment. It looks like Marty has used it all on his head ;)

    I think it's more brown/red HA......

    Very fetching......;)

Mr. T shocked that Rural Ireland is closing down. Imagine. Shocked.

Marty, you have got to mention Kilmurry Ibrickane or we won't let you back into the county.

I don't care how many successful films she does, she'll always be Shannon from Home and Away to me.

Marty ran into someone who knew him in London, Peter Ustinov would have been proud of that one.

He gives George Hamilton a run for his money as the patron saint of stating the obvious:)

His commentary formula is as follows:

Nothing happening - calls out names of whoever is on the ball

Point / Goal Scored - "GREAT SCORE" (even if it bounces of someones arse and goes over / in)

Point / Goal Missed - "UNLUCKY" even if it was the miss of the century - never critical of anyone.

Stat Appears on screen - Reads it out with utter shock.

No insight, no passion and no personality.

Harry, my Mother said exactly the same thing when he walked on. I can't see it myself to be honest, but I will defer to your judgement.

HawkEye is such a crock of sh1t.. All they had to do was copy what the IRFU are doing, video referees using the existing camera footage.... Neither Benny Coulter's square ball nor Joe Sheridan's goal would have been cancelled out by HawkEye..

Tubs "What was it like, Sister?"

Flying Nun " It was better than Sex, Ryan!"

    Marty loves the attention.

    LONDON HEATHROW....TUBE STATION....LEICESTER SQUARE.....TUBE.....HOWIYA MARTY....GREAT GAS ALLTOGETHER

I had the misfortune of sharing a flight with him last year, sitting a few rows back. He might as well have said "I'M MARTY MORRISEY" to the poor feicer sitting beside him.

Anyway, I will shut up now. I suspect MrsD has a weird crush on him :pac:

Yeah but it took the pressure off Tubs...he could bring in the Wimbledon link. Sw19 far more his thing than Jones' road:D
