Buying Kindle books for non-kindle readers

    Is it possible? How would delivery work? I know they can be de-drm'd somehow. The question is more around what I can do if I buy a kindle edition book without owning a kindle.

    I ask because quite a few books are cheaper as kindle editions than epub.

    Use kindle for PC. Then get calibre and plug-ins to de-drm, then you're free to do with it as you please.
