First names now? Aren't we posh :D

Probably Sturridge but I won't commit yet. Many, many options this week.

I'm thinking Walcott again or Bale... Any chance Sturridge will repeat?
I think I should pick a captain on a team with something to play for though, right?

Bale or Sturridge. Probly go with Bale, but Sturridge is SERIOUSLY tempting

    David Silva (Norwich Home)
    Poll lacks Carragher

Dont think Ive ever had so many captain options in my team Sturridge, bale, walcott, mata, lampard, tevez and carroll if I bring him in. 6 of those 7 are at home and walcott the only one thats away is a great option too. Leaning towards sturridge or bale.

Gone for Coutinho, chasing my mini-league leader desperately!

    Bale all the way.

    FYP :pac:

If he was fit and wasn't facing Man City away then I'd strongly consider it. At the moment I guess I'm looking at Bale.....although I feel like taking a gamble this week, might consider Kone or Maloney or whoever I replace Lukaku with.

Hell I could go nuts and even give it to RVP.

    Newcastle are shocking right now.

Walcott is just nudging ahead of Bale for me.

    could change though.

Voted for Sturridge as it's safe.

However if I was chasing a leader by a few points Walcott would have got it. Newcastle are brutal.

Bale won't do ****. Mark my words lads.

Sturridge for me but I'm still thinking of Aguero but haven't heard anything about the alleged injury he picked up midweek.

    oh I can't decide:D
Podolski? sturridge? Van Persie?? Bale? Fellani?

Either Sturridge or Cazorla, I'm leaning towards Sturridge though.

    Arouna Kone (Aston Villa Home)
If I hear/read that Dzeko will start, I will bring him in for Lukaku and give him the armband.

That sounds like crazy left field thinking that comes into play in GW38....

....and I like it!! Been looking to offload Lukaku myself, I will bear this in mind.

I must admit that I am biased towards him since he scored 4 for me away at spurs last season, just wish he'd join a club where he can play regularly and bang 'em in off his head, neck, knee, hip etc:)

Robin Van Persie (West Brom Away)
Instinct was going with Lukaku, thinking Utd might have an EPL hangover.

    :D

Head is now leaning to Sturridge after bringing him back in to the side for the last game of the season. Usually kick myself for not going with the first choice instinct, so might still with it this week, its not as if I will make great strides on the last day.

Bale or Sturridge ugh such a headwreck can't decide

I voted RVP, but switched to Walcott since.
Why are people not choosing RVP? Is he expected to be rested, or WBA to defend well or something?
I have Bale but not Sturridge. For some reason I think Bale won't do well when they will be under pressure to win (in the hope that Arsenal drop points). I'm not sure why I think this, or if the logic behind it is good.

    Bale for me.

If Studge didn't get hatrick last week Bale would be #1 in poll surely.

Studge is of course a great call but motivation again main influence on my decision between the two...

    I'm going with Podolski!

    I'm going with Podolski!

I know he scored 2 goals against Wigan but I can't stress how little he did in that game. Both goals were VERY sloppy from Wigan plus Giroud could be back up front.

Having said that if he scores a strongly I take no responsibility :pac:

Head/heart, I dunno which has taken over I have gone with Sturridge.

I've gone with Bale, if he truly is the player of the season he'll surely deliver when he's needed the very most....right?

Went with Bale too,was tempted with Sturridge but had Bale last week and he dissapointed, so bound to come good now :D

    Romelu Lukaku (Man Utd Home)
Coin toss between Bale and Sturridge, but Bale has more to play for. Come on chimp boy!

I'm off to Valderama for a round of golf so will be checking scores intermittently throughout the day. I'm pretty **** at golf and if the footie isn't going my way I will likely become even worse...

Decided to defer to the bookmakers and select Bale, but too late - Walcott it is.
